Founder Profile
Wilfred J. Mercier
Founder, Principal
Global Resource Analytics was founded by Wilfred Mercier in 2020. Wil has more than 10 years of professional experience developing and implementing remote sensing and GIS solutions. His work has utilized the full spectrum of remote sensing datasets and has included projects providing forest cover type mapping, change detection, and point cloud analysis. He has worked extensively in the Northeast and Southeast US and has done work on three continents. Wil holds a BS in Forestry and a MS in Forest Resources from the University of Maine and is a licensed forester in the state of Maine. With more than a decade of experience in computer programming Wil brings together a rare combination of skills that fuses remote sensing, computer science, and forestry to provide advanced solutions to the forestry and natural resources sector.
